SIGN UP FOR UNITE E-NEWSE_News.html

UNITE aims to achieve excellence in education by creating highly qualified teachers for our nation’s most disadvantaged youth.  Starting on Illinois State University’s campus in 2006, UNITE has grown across the nation into an ideal student-action organization.

UNITE provides opportunities for students to gain first hand experience in urban areas, providing future teachers with much needed experience.  Every program takes a   community-based asset approach to educating pre-service and current teachers.  Graduates of UNITE leave with an enhanced understanding of the relationship between schools, the community and society.

Our graduates teach in America’s most needy schools and continue to support teacher preparation and higher education initiatives at the local and national level.
